The two managers shared their thoughts on the 0-0 draw.
Joan Carrillo: The team worked hard from the first minute until the last for the win. We created several chances and we fell just short of what was needed to score. I would be unsatisfied if we would not have created chances, but this was not the case. We need to carry on down the road, and things will not be easy next week when we travel to Papa. I know that the supporters would have wanted us to win, but sadly we did not manage that, but the most important is that we did everything possible, which was confirmed by the loud applause that was evident from the stands. We still have many games left and are only at the half way stage of the season. It is a good thing that we have a 5 point advantage over the second placed side.
Thomas Doll: Both sides tried hard to play well. Vidi confirmed today that they deserve to lead the league. Our defence was good today with one or two exceptions, but we could have fallen behind had Dibusz not saved well. Denes Dibusz has produced good performances over the whole autumn. We found it hard to keep hold of the ball and it was difficult to win it back. We sent unnecessary long balls forward throughout, which we will need to improve on in the future. I am angry that the match official produced several yellow cards very easily. He also stopped the flow of the game itself. I do not want to criticize, but it is rather a pity that this type of behaviour does not help to make Hungarian football more dynamic, but this is the only way that you can get closer to Europe. Getting back to the match, we can be satisfied with this point. All those teams that are currently above us in the table will be visiting us over the spring, so things will be more difficult than they have been over the autumn. We will have two matches to play at home in the remaining games this year, which we would like to win. Another important thing is that we can play on a quality pitch towards the end of November. I would like to thank those who have made it possible.
