Joan Carrillo: "Today's game was very important for us, which could be seen in the player's attitude"

The two manager's shared their thoughts on the Hungarian cup match.

Joan Carrillo: "We came to Pecs today to play in a good match and progress to the next round. Pecs are a side that likes to play football. We prepared for this. Today's game was very important for us, and this could be seen in the player's attitude. I am very pleased about this. We took a big step towards going through after scoring the first goal. We managed to comfortably achieve our aim in the end. Both sides played with great intensity, and we were able to play calmly following the first goal. Pajac is a very good natured lad, and I am sure that he did not have any bad intentions, and was really looking forward to playing, so his intention to show what he could do perhaps ended up being the reason for being sent off. We will have to play Ujpest to make it through to the final. It is at the home of Ujpest on Sunday that we play a league match, and we will be only focusing on that game."

Jarni Robert: "We knew that a 1-0 win could see us battle our way through to the next round. We were waiting for our first chance with this in mind, but unfortunately we conceded an early goal from a penalty. I felt that this goal settled the match. I do not usually focus on match officials, but my opinion is that he was too strict with this decision. We were equal opponents during the first half and were in the match. However, we do not have a thing like a strong or weak side. We have 19 players, and we played an exciting match at Szekesfehervar where we ended up unfortunately losing. I am convinced that if there would not have been a penalty, then we would have played a much closer match with the Fehervar side."
