The two managers shared their thoughts on Sunday's league match at the Sostoi stadium.
Joan Carrillo: It was a very tough match, with our opponents sending dangerous long balls, and also playing well to get the rebounds, while also lining up with two forwards. We played our usual passing game, which resulted in the two styles of football clashing. There were not too many chances in the first half. We had more of the possession in the second period and created chances. I am satisfied with my players looking at the overall game, as well as their attitude and determination that I could see in them. That was the decider in today's match. I would really like to thank the supporters for their backing! The pulse is always rushing from the dugout, and the backing and love that we receive is especially important from the supporters in the stands. We really had 12 players out there on the pitch today and we won the match!
Tomiszláv Szivics: It was a good match with two good sides on the pitch. There was a big tactical battle in the first half, with us closing down Vidi's area, while they did the same to our own. Both sides waited for the other team to make mistakes. The game opened up after the first goal, and a real battling match took place. I would like to congratulate Videoton, but I do not feel that we deserved to lose, with a big mistake happening before the deciding goal. A big match like this is settled on such a small point. I felt after we levelled that we would score another goal, but unfortunately it did not end up this way. I would like to congratulate my players, who gave more than 100%. However, luck was not with us today. I was forced to make a change in the first half, while Elek played the majority of the game with a head injury. Vidi are currently the best Hungarian team and they showed this today.
