The two managers gave their reaction at the post match press conference.
Imre Szabics:
It was a very difficult match against an unpleasant opponent. I am very proud of my team for the performance they put in after last week and for winning the game. Sometimes in football things go wrong, players are human and not robots, and for our part the Újpest game had a very bad mentality. That's why I'm proud that the guys showed a good reaction on the pitch today. We analysed and talked a lot during the week, I saw in everyone's eyes that they want to prove themselves. Turning to today's game, Paks made a small change in the first half, and then another reshuffle to stabilise their position. I can't say that we were able to dominate all the time, everyone will have a very hard time against Paks, who have two robust attackers are not only unique in Hungary in my opinion, so we really managed to beat a very unpleasant opponent. I'm happy that Kodro scored again, but I'm also happy about Ivan's goal, and most of all I'm happy that the game was decided in our direction tonight.
György Bognár:
We did not deserve to lose this match. I think that we should not have lost based on our chances, although the opponent had chances. I do not want to say any more about it because it costs me too much to give my opinion. But we tried honestly and I think we had good chances inside the opponents' box. Our problem is not that we are conceding two goals a game, it is that we are not scoring three. We do a lot to do that, but we are not always stopped by the opposition.
