Gyorgy Sandor was man of the match against Siofok

Sport TV chose Gyorgy Sandor as their man of the match in both the Ujpest and Siofok matches

+ It is an honour for me, that the commentary team recognised my performances, but I will only be completely satisfied when the manager says positives as well. I am normally happier that we won the match than receiving champagne.

- Many have brought up the 1-1 draw back in August, where many said before Saturday's game, that we need to forget about that draw in the season opener...

+ That is correct. I thought that we played in extreme situations back then, and it was close to 40c that day. I also feel that the goal that we conceded that day, comes along once in every ten years. Things were also made more difficult for us that we came up against a newly promoted side, who were really motivated on the first day of the season. They wanted to show that it was not by accident that they got promoted to the first division. The autumn season has now gone by and they have tired a bit, which is not a problem for us. We need to win games like these at home, and a win against Siofok was the only acceptable scoreline.

- What was the turning point in the game, as the match was settled within a few minutes?

+ It is true that we didn't really create any attractive and dangerous chances in the first half, but I still thought that each of our attacks were dangerous. Once the visitors began to tire, we managed to step up a gear, and then scored from a good set piece, and from a good move, which led to the second.

- You scored the opener. You have come into form towards the end of the autumn season? That has seen you pick up two bottles of champagne over the last two league matches?

+ I do not think so. I did not really do anything that much extra, and we tried to play in the same way as we have so far. I have been at the club for almost a year now. If I look at Zoltan Liptak, who arrived a half year before I did, and then began to start playing well, which led to him making it into the international team, then hopefully, that is a good sign and I hope that I can play even better over the spring season.
