The two managers gave their reactions at the post match press conference.
Gabor Marton:
"From the beginning of the match, we tried to perform more attacking. At the beginning of the first half, our game stalled a bit, we were poorly positioned in some parts of the pitch, especially in midfield, we still had situations, we scored our first goal relatively quickly. I liked the second half better, but I don’t want to be dissatisfied, I’m happy with the win. There were some players who moved a little tired, the reason for this has to be found, however, this does not deduct anything from the value of the win. We thank our fans for visiting the MOL Arena Sosto this morning as we headed out on the team bus, expressing their enthusiasm and commitment to the team. Today’s victory and goals are dedicated to them!"
Michael Oenning:
"We entered the pitch with motivation as the season continued, we wanted to give everything in the first match of the spring season, we wanted to play a technically well-developed match, it all lasted until the first goal. We tried to play offensively, to create scoring opportunities, but we can’t play by focusing solely on the offensive game and not paying enough attention to the defence in the meantime. Our offensive and defensive play must be a priority, especially against an opponent like MOL Fehervar. We made a lot of mistakes, the opponent ran at us many times, after the second goal, the chances of us coming back into the match decreased. We need to get used to the team, we need to find harmony. I am disappointed with today's match and most of all the number of goals scored. We need to analyse our game, today was not at all the performance I want to see from the team in the future."
