Farkas: It will be a very different game

Captain Balazs Farkas spoke to Vidi.hu ahead of the big game on Thursday.

- The 1-1 first leg draw with Maribor was a little bit disappointing as Videoton did more to get the result than the Slovenian side.

+ Yes, I also agree with the fact that we did more in the first leg. You could see in our game, that we concentrated on keeping a clean sheet and to try to not let them get an away goal. Once they took the lead, they tried to defend that lead for the rest of the match. I think that the game in Maribor will be different, and you cannot take a lot out of the game in Győr.

- Do you feel that a different kind of opposition awaits you tomorrow?

+ I am sure, that Maribor will play differently at home, and we will also play with different tactics for the away game. The roles will be reversed and I hope that we can come out of this better.

- What type of opponents do you see in the Slovenians?

+ We got what we were expecting from them. They were together, and functioned well as a team, who are ready to battle it out. What they practice and the way they want to play against us, they do very well. One thing that was noticeable, despite the hot weather, was that they tired more than us in the last half hour of the match.

- Talk us through the last week and the morale within the team?

+ There is no problems with the atmosphere, and we are all concentrating on going through to the next round. We have gone through last week's game in detail, especially the first half, which we covered closely. We were weaker in the first 45 minutes of last week's game, and also conceded a goal then. We cannot afford to play with such defensive and tactical mistakes once more. We also need to take advantage of the chances that come our way, especially with the fact that there may not be as many chances in front of goal, away from home.
