It was Sparta that went ahead from practically the first move of the game after 6 minutes. Tetteh crossed from the right and Chipciu converted the ball into the back of the net (0-1). Huszti found himself in with a chance after 21 minutes but his shot was saved by Heca. However, the assistant referee had already flagged for offside. The Czech side then doubled their lead on 39 minutes. Kanga was allowed to run with the ball and his long range shot found the bottom right corner of the net (0-2). Vidi made no changes at half time while Sparta made several changes.
The second half was six minutes old when Milanov was fouled inside the box. The referee awarded a penalty and Huszti confidently scored to put Vidi back in the game (1-2).
Pulkrab gained possession after 72 minutes and although there was a hint of a foul, the referee waved play on. Stanciu tried his luck from distance but he did not hit the target. The friendly was settled on 84 minutes with Sparta's third goal: Pulkrab found Stanciu with a pass and his cross from the left was met by Plavsic in the middle who flicked the ball home to make the final score 1-3.
