Attila Polonkai has not broken his leg

Attila Polonkai suffered an injury in the second leg of the Europa League game in Maribor. He had to go to hospital during the game, but luckily it appears as if there is no serious problem.

Attila Polonkai suffered an injury midway though the first half of Thursday nights Europa league game in Maribor. Gyorgy Mezey was forced to bring off the midfielder, and send on Bojan Djordjic. Polonkia received treatment during half time from club doctor, Miklos Kator. However, he was taken shortly afterwards by ambulance to the local hospital.

The X-rayed Attila's right leg, and they gave him a thorough check up, which luckily seems to have shown that there is no serious injury. He received a kick just above the shin, which has resulted in heavy bruising, but thankfully without any breaks. Polonkai will now be forced to sit out two weeks, but he is lucky to have escaped with just that.
