AEK have a training session in Budapest

AEK Athens have arrived for the CL play off, 1st leg game and they trained at the Groupama Arena on Tuesday evening.

The AEK Athens squad have arrived in Budapest. They trained at the Groupama Arena at 19.30. Manager Marinos Ouzounidis and Anastasios Bakasetas met the press before that.

"It will be a very hard game and we feel that both teams have a 50-50 chance. We can hear from many places that we are the favourites, but I do not think this is the case. Vidi have been defensive in the qualification games so far, so it will be hard to open then up" - commented their manager.

"I do not think that it is an advantage that our league season starts on the 25th August, while Vidi are already playing in theirs. We saw their most recent match with Honved, which was an easy win. The first game will be in Hungary so we must try and get the best result we can. I will not be going into tactical elements now as that belongs within our team. We have come to Hungary to get a good result"- commented the 25 year old forward.

AEK held a training session in the evening with the first 15 minutes being open to the media.
