We spoke to the international defender ahead of Friday's friendly match against Ivory Coast.
"We are now over a tough preparation period. The program consisted mainly of two training sessions per day, as well as a training game against the U21 side. Despite the fact that there is around a month until the European Championships, the team is already well put together. The main emphasis has been on fitness and tactics recently. The coaching staff also focused on the regeneration side. We have a friendly international game against the Ivory Coast on Friday evening. They are currently the best team in Africa and have the strongest national team. It will not be an easy game at all, while the result is always important for the national team. I would like to repay several of those tactical elements that we have been doing in training. The national team manager is also expecting to see those things in games. Despite the fact that there has not been any time to relax after the season ended, we have been enjoying the work and are not too tired. It is a great honour to be part of the Hungarian national team, which is getting ready for the first European Championships after 44 years. Fortunately the injury that forced me to miss out on the friendly game against the U21 side, was not too serious. I have been training at full steam again since Monday" - commented Adam Lang.
