Vidi travel east to Miskolc in search of maximum points on Sunday
Videoton FC travel to play Diosgyőr on Sunday in hot form. Their last two away league games have resulted in 4-0 wins for Jose Gomes' side. The start to spring looks even more impressive if you add the league cup and Hungarian cup games, which Vidi played away from home. That makes it four wins out of four and a very impressive goal difference of 16-3! No one could have wished for a better start to the second half of the campaign over the winter pre-season. Sunday's game looks like being played out infront of a big crowd in Miskolc.
Diosgyőr manager Lazar Szentes saw his side open up the spring season with a win away at Eger. They then followed that up with a home draw against Haladas. Their most recent match saw them lose so they will be out to improve. DVTK as they are also known, last won at home in their final game of 2012. Vidi also have a good record on the road to the eastern based club. Last season resulted in a 2-0 away win for Vidi in the league cup, which they followed up with another 2-0 win in the OTP league.
Sunday's match promises to be a tough one for the red and blues, in a week that will see Vidi play three matches away from home. Three points would give the team a further boost in their quest to finish in the top three at worst.
