A 2-1 win in the final friendly in Austria

Second half goals from Sos and Scepovic gave Vidi a 2-1 win against the Serbian first division side.

The Austrian training camp came to an end after 15 days with a final friendly game against Serbian side Csukaricski. Marko Nikolic fielded the following eleven on Tuesday evening: Kovácsik – Nego, Vinícius, Fiola, Stopira – Anel Hadzic – Nikolov, Pátkai – Huszti – Stefan Scepovics, Marko Scepovics.

Csukaricski went ahead with the first chance of the game on 21 minutes. A nicely worked one-two resulted in a cross from the right that Mudrinszki arrived well to connect and find the back of the net (0-1). The end of the first half saw Nego fight for possession of the ball and he played in Marko Scepovic, but the forward's shot came off one of the Belgrade sides defenders, with the referee blowing for half time moments later.

The opponents made several changes at the break, while both Bence Sos and Istvan Kovacs came on to replace Stefan Scepovic and Boban Nikolov. The summer signing did not wait too long before finding himself on the end of a 56th minute Huszti cross that was flicked on by Scepovic. (1-1).

Vidi pressed forward and Nego showed fine individual skill on 61 minutes, which ended with the ball at Marko Scepovic, who aimed for the bottom right with his left foot, but Sapics managed to clear off the goal line. Djordjecvic got hold of the ball six minutes later and he released Birmancsevic, but keeper Kovacsik moved off his line well and the shot from the forward went straight at the keeper. A long range Huszti shot after 70 minutes was collected by Belics, while Stopira's low effort was also saved by the substitute keeper.

Tedics and then Sarics both had chances for the Serbians on 75 minutes. When it appeared as if the game would end in a 1-1 draw, Marko Scepovic arrived to connect with a Nego pass to score after 89 minutes to make it 2-1.

That meant that the 2018 summer training camp came to a close with a victory. There will be a couple days rest on Wednesday and Thursday for the players before they return back to training.
