"We played with lots of discipline against DVTK"

Paulo Sousa gave special praise to the travelling Videoton supporters

"Today's match was especially difficult, as we have now played DVTK three times, in under three weeks. It is hard in situations like these to keep on motivating the team, as well as finding the right tactics. The early goal that we scored gave us confidence at the start of the match. The players knew exactly when to keep hold of the ball, and when to allow the opposition to have it, without it giving them the chance to create things. My players were very disciplined, and we managed to direct things throughout the game. Just as I said before the game, the supporters here are fantastic, and they give unbelievable backing to their side. Things were difficult today against DVTK, but I am very pleased that we managed to secure the three league points. I would especially like to thank the visiting supporters, for the way they were so enthusiastic from the first minute to the last, and the fact that so many travelled. We need them in every game, and I would like to see even more of them at our matches, giving us even more motivation as a result."

"I told the players in the dressing room that I congratulate them, as they did, what we had talked about, and did good work. Videoton FC, even if it is hard to say, are a better team than us. I would like to say once again that my side did everything to get the win."
