Paulo Sousa saw his side lose at home to Ferencvaros on Sunday afternoon
Paulo Sousa: Congratulations to Ferencvaros, who were better than us today, and deserved to win the match. It was quite an eventful game, and not only because of the storm that brought a break to the match. We have had a lot of games lately, which increases the chances of injuries to the players. We took this into consideration when we picked the team, as it is important that we do not lose anyone to injury. It was noticable on some of the players that they were tired mentally, and that they did not always make the right decisions. We performed well in the Europa League, and there have been several games in the league, when we were better than our opponents, but did not win. Ferencvaros were better than us today. The break in the game affected our concentration and our tempo, but this can happen anytime, just as it did today.
Ricardo Moniz: We picked up a very important win today, and it was important to win following our defeat to Haladas in the cup. Our supporters helped us a lot today. We knew that we would be playing a team, that are ahead of us, and who proved themselves during the week against Sporting. We deserved to take the lead, as we began the game well, and we even had a penalty appeal in the first half. We did well to stop Videoton from playing their own game, and I felt that Bode, Somalia and Jenner did very well upfront for us. I thought that the attack leading up to the goal in the second half was worthy of it, and Bode, despite the fact that he did not play well, decided the match in the end. The break in the game did not come at a good time for us, but we still had chances to score another goal in the end.
