Tamás Pető and Vladimir Radenkovic shared their thoughts following the MOL Hungarian Cup match that ended with a 2-1 victory and qualification to the next round.
Tamás Pető:
"We played a very good game! I could divide the game into two parts; in the first half we had a lot of young players who did a good job, although Diósgyőr had the physical advantage in this period. They have very good players, they are fast and play good football, but I am very happy with our young players. We managed to turn the game around in the second half. I am glad that I could give Dániel Veszelinov a chance and he took it. But I can't complain about the rest of our young players either, of course there were mistakes, but that's how they learn how to play in a match of this pressure. Zsolt Kalmár is also on the right track, he played 80 minutes in a high intensity match, he worked hard for it. It's great to have a player with such spirit in my team, who is trying to get back to his top form after a serious injury and even accepts being substituted."
Vladimir Radenkovic:
"First of all, I would like to congratulate my colleague Tamas Pető, he has prepared his team very well. I think we played well, we controlled the game for a long time. All my players who came on the pitch today gave their best, but in a cup match one moment can decide everything. It favoured our opponents. At 1-1 we were unlucky several times and we didn't always choose the right solution. Nevertheless, as I said before, I am proud of my players, they gave their best. The only thing I can be dissatisfied about is the result. I'm sorry to lose because we had serious plans in this cup."
