Vidi squad arrive back to Hungary after a difficult journey home

The squad left Malaga on Thursday afternoon but only arrived back in Szekesfehervar late on Friday evening.

The Videoton squad experienced a very difficult journey home from their training camp in Spain. They left the hotel near Marbella on Thursday afternoon on route to Malaga airport. The plane took off for the first leg of the journey home, which meant a stop over at nearby Palma de Mallorca. However, the plane experienced technical problems that resulted in the squad having to spend the night in a local hotel.

The plane was able to take off for Vienna on Friday afternoon, landing in the Austrian capital just after 17:00pm. The final leg of a tiring trip was made by coach back to Szekesfehervar. They arrived back at the Sostoi late on Friday evening.  The squad is due to meet up again on Monday morning for a medical. Juhasz, Sandor, Kovacs and Gyurcso will not take part as they will head off to the national teams training camp in Turkey.

The second training camp in southern Spain will begin on Friday 7th February.
