Videoton completed their final match of 2011 with a goaless draw away at Haladas. In near freezing conditions and on a difficult pitch, it was a case of discipline from start to finish, to pretect their 1-0 first leg lead. Bozovic kept his place in goal, and produced yet another clean sheet, while a familiar looking back four of Brachi, Caneira, Vinicius and Hector lined up in front of the giant keeper. Alves came back into the starting line up, playing in front of a midfield five of Elek, Toth, Sandor, Mitrovic and Evandro.

The match began with a dangerous looking corner from Mitrovics being clared in the second minute. Vidi' beck line pushed up forcing the home side into hitting long balls early on. Schimmer's cross found the hands of Bozovic for the first time after 12 minutes in a quiet start to the game. Home forward Oross missed a great chance after 18 minutes. Gabor Nagy's cross from the right fell kindly to the big striker, who hit his effort wide of the right post, when perhaps he had more time to deal with it. Evandro, who was playing on the right side, then had a good volley go over the bar. Elek was then forced to come off with a slight pull, and first leg hero, Dusan Vasziljevic came on in his place.

Skriba had a powerful shot go over the bar after 77 minutes, as the home side tried to rescue the tie. Brachi and Vasziljevics both found their way into the referee's book towards the end of the game. The 82nd minute saw Vasziljevics shot from a tight angle after a cross from Mitrovics, but it went straight into the hands of Rozsa. The final chance of the match fell to Andre Alves, who shot over from close range. The ref blew the final whistle, with Videoton FC progressing into the quarterfinals of the Hungarian cup, following their 1-0 aggregate win.
