Vidi have won the last nine league matches against Saturday's opponents Debrecen

We look at the stats ahead of Videoton's home league game with Debrecen.

The two clubs have met each other 73 times in the first division. The first of those was in season 1979/90 in match 4 of that campaign. The game was played at the Sostoi stadium on the 5th September 1979 and ended in a 1-1 draw. The 73 games have produced 29 Vidi wins, 30 for Debrecen and the remaining 14 drawn. The goals over those games read 105-97.

Games on the home pitch have seen 22 Fehervar wins from the 37 played. Debrecen have taken maximum points in 8 games and 7 have been drawn. Vidi enjoy a better goal difference of 66-40.

The last nine league games between the sides have seen all of those won by Videoton. This is the longest run of wins for either side over the years. It has been three and a half years since Debrecen last won and that was on in 2014.

First league game:
That was in season 1979/80 on the 5th September 1979 at the Sostoi stadium. The game ended in a 1-1 draw with the Vidi goal coming from Gyozo Burcsa. The two sides met again in Debrecen and that game also ended 1-1 with Tibor Nagy finding the net for the Fehervar side.

First Vidi win:
That came in the 5th game between the two clubs. The 11th November 1981 saw Videoton defeat Debrecen 2-0 at the Sostoi stadium with both goals coming from Sandor Baranyi.

Longest unbeaten run:
Debrecen were unable to win in Szekesfehervar from 1981-2000. The 19 years resulted in 14 games between the two at the Sostoi stadium and those produced 3 draws and 11 Videoton wins.

A good win during that 19 year run:

The highest win:
The biggest win came in season 1982/83 on the 10th April 1983. The win saw goals from Vadasz, Szabo, Novath and Nagy. There was a 5-1 win in August 2016 most recently at the Pancho Arena.

Games with the most goals:
Debrecen and Videoton met in November 2017 and the match ended in a 5-2 away win for Vidi.
