Videoton have a two-legged affair with Pecs over the week with games on Wednesday and Sunday
League Cup semi-final (first leg)
Thursday 21st March 2013, K.O: 18.00 Videoton FC - Pécs
Videoton return to action over the coming week following the league program being wiped out by the bad weather over the weekend. Vidi can make it into the league cup final by Sunday, with two games against Pecs MFC. The first leg takes place on Thursday at the Sostoi stadium, with kick off at 18:00pm. The Hungarian FA chose this week for the league cup, as the national team have two qualification games on Friday and next Tuesday. Vidi knocked out Debrecen in the last round to make it into the last four. Pecs beat Honved 6-5 on aggregate to meet Videoton in the semi-final.
World Cup Qualifier
Friday 22nd March 2013, K.O.: 20.30: Hungary - Romania
The national team have a crucial couple of games coming up. FIFA have ruled that Friday's home qualification game with Romania should be played behind closed doors. The Hungarian squad has two Videoton players in the form of Adam Gyurcso and Istvan Kovacs. Hopefully they will be able to play a part in Hungary defeating their neighbours to the east. Both Hungary and Romania currently have 9 points each after four matches. Hungary sit in second place in the group table with a better goal difference. Holland are top with a 100% record so far.
League cup semi-final (second leg)
Sunday 24th March 2013, K.O.: 18.00: Pécs - Videoton FC
Videoton travel south to Pecs just three days after the first leg tie. The second leg will take place on Sunday evening, with defending cup winners Videoton hoping to make it into the final. Videoton have won the cup three times and they will be looking to make that number four!
