Three points are the target on Saturday when Vidi made the trip to the Perutz stadium.
Manager Balint Toth took over Lombard Papa before the final game of last season. He helped them secure a 1-1 draw against Diosgyőr. The point was enough to secure first division status, with Siofok's home defeat consigning them to the second division. Very few would have thought that Papa would be sitting in 5th place after 8 games, having picked up 13 points. They have so far beaten Honved, Mezokovesd, Pecs and Kaposvar, while they drew the game with Kaposvar. However, positive news for Vidi is that Papa have not had the best of time on their home pitch, losing their last two games against Diosgyőr (0-1), and Ferencvaros (0-2).

Several new players arrived during the summer break. They included Gellert Ivancsics from Honved, Istvan Eszlatyi from BKV, and Mark Orosz who came from Ferencvaros. A big name signing included former Haladas player Krisztian Kenesei. Players leaving the Perutz stadium were Belicky, Enyingi, Seye and Maroti. One player who has been a major plus for them has been Griffiths, who committed his future to Saturday's opponents by staying there. The powerful 24 year old forward has been in good form this season having scored 4 goals.
Vidi have played Papa away in league action six times so far, winning four, drawing one and losing the other, which came last November.
