Vidi have yet to concede a goal in March with Debrecen next up
Videoton have kicked off the spring season in top form, with their performances based on a solid defence, which has yet to concede a single goal in the four games to date in March. Vidi last conceded back in November, when Paks managed to find the back of the net, even though it was Vidi who emerged winners that day in a 2-1 away win. Morale is high and players are showing the required consistency, which is vital if any side is to be successful. The players looked relaxed and have been working hard for each other, and Debrecen will know that they will have a tough game on their hands on Sunday. A bigger than usual crowd is expected inside the Sostoi stadium, with the home fans sure to give good backing to their favourites.
Vidi have won all four games so far in the month of March. They kicked off with a solid 2-0 home win over Kaposvar, which was quickly followed up by a 2-0 home league cup win over DVTK. Videoton then travelled east to play DVTK four days later in a league game. Paulo Sousa's side came away with a good 2-0 win, before Wednesday's Hungarian cup second leg triumph in Győr, gave the boys from Fehervar, another 1-0 win, and yet another clean sheet in the process. Vidi know that they will be half way there against Debrecen on Sunday, if they can avoid conceding for the 5th game in a row. The majority inside the Sostoi stadium on Sunday afternoon will be hoping to make it a fantastic 16 matches unbeaten!
