Vidi played out a 0-0 draw at the home of Dukla, making it through to the last 32 in the UEFA cup after a 1-0 aggregate win.
At least 500 supporters followed Vidi to Prague to back their side following the 1-0 home win against Dukla. There were around 200 rival Bohemian supporters that also gathered in the visiting section. The game started in a perfect atmosphere, even though the home supporters had not been too active with around 2500 fans inside the Na Julisce Stadium, with the match beginning with heavy rain falling.
Dukla kicked off with three forwards in their side and two attacking midfielders. Manager Ladislav Novak showed his willingness to cancel out their one goal deficit from the first leg. Pelc shot wide after the 5th and 12th minute, while Szabo just failed to connect with a Majer cross on 16 minutes. Stromsik then saved a Majer shot three minutes later. Csuhaj then headed over a few minutes later. Majer was again in the thick of the action after 31 minutes, when he turned his marker on the right side, and his cross rebounded in to the path of Vadasz who shot first time, and the ball deflected off Fialan, with the ball going just wide.
Majer had another shot towards the end of the first half, while at the other end, Vana's high ball in was saved by Koszta in the Videoton goal. The two sides went in at the break with the score at 0-0.
The second half started with a header from Korejcik, and another two shots, which neither ended up in the net. A free kick on 61 minutes from Novath from 25 meters brought a save from Stromsik. The Czech keeper again came out on top a minute later. The 65th minute resulted in a very good stop by Koszta, who blocked from in front of Luhovy.
A Kriz shot on 72 minutes and a powerful effort by Pelc, 2 minutes later, went wide of the target. Vadasz then had two chances in the final 10 minutes; the first was blocked while the second rebounded off Stromsik. The match ended with two chances for Dukla, and a very good save by Koszta, but the Prague side could not break down the visiting defence. Vidi also had chances to extend their advantage.
Vidi progress to the last 32 with a 1-0 aggregate score as they await the draw for the next round.
