"All in all, we can say that we have had a successful season, as the original goal was to reach 40 points and stay in the NB I. We have confidently achieved this target. After that, we were able to play our football with a sense of freedom and, although we had a few poor matches, we finally managed to qualify for Europe in the summer. But we were not happy after the last game, because we were very close to a podium finish, but we didn't manage it. I am satisfied with my own performance, and there is no question that the 2023/2024 season was the best season of my career. My game went well, especially after I moved forward in midfield and was able to get involved in attacks much more often. I'm happy that I scored nine goals in total and also managed to provide a few assists. What can I say? Never a worse season! I'm proud to be a player of this team. I feel like we've really bonded this season, and a lot of that is down to the coaching staff. I have a lot of good memories from last season, and I have to give a special mention to the Vidi fans, who have brought a great atmosphere to the stadiums every game. I'm very sorry that we couldn't celebrate a podium finish together, but it says everything about the fans that they still came out to celebrate in front of the Sóstói Stadion despite fourth place. It was an unforgettable experience for me and I think for my team-mates as well. Now we will have a few weeks of rest, and then we will prepare for European competition and the new league season with a strong foundation.
