"There are no good or bad groups at the European Championship"

"Luckily, I was in the squad after my injury for today's win and then I was able to watch the draw. You can't really say whether we got a good or bad group, there's no such thing at a European Championship. The Germans are the hosts, we've had good experience against them in the past, but I would have preferred to get Spain in the first hat, I've never played them. I'm sure the Germans will be stronger at home than they have been recently. The other two teams are also very strong, the Scots are physically strong, I saw a couple of their games in the qualifying series, they put in a very good performance, and Switzerland need no introduction. We last played them in 2017 with little success, let's hope the tables turn this time. This will be our third European Championship in a row, but 80% of the squad has already been replaced.
