The team wishes Marco Caneira a happy birthday

The Videoton squad celebrated the 35th birthday of defender Marco Caneira following dinner on Sunday evening. The cake was handed over by Roland Juhasz and Gyorgy Sandor. The Hungarian international duo played a joke on Caneira by arranging for candles and a "50" to be placed on the top of the cake.

Marco Caneira was born in Sintra, Portugal on the 9th February 1979. He went on to make 25 appearances for his country, and was a member of the squad, which ended in 4th position in the 2006 World cup. His career has included clubs like Sporting Lisbon, Bordeaux and Valencia. He is a Portugese cup, Super cup and league cup winner. He moved to Videoton in 2011 and has helped the club to two runners up positions, a League cup success and the successful run in last seasons Europa League.
