Vidi came away from Szeged on Tuesday evening with a comfortable 3-0 win.
Imre Szabics:
"Our aim was to progress in the cup, which we did by playing with confidence. I'm glad that it worked out that way, because after our game at the weekend, where we couldn't score despite having a lot of chances, it was very important to play well and to have a good performance. It was my first time back in my hometown as a coach and it was a very good feeling, and also to come to such a great stadium. However, today I didn't come back to visit relatives, I came back to take my team to the next level, which I did, and I'm very happy about that. Now, of course, I might see my relatives after the final whistle."
Dragan Vukmir:
"We tried to prepare well, but the opponent scored two wonderful goals early in the game and it caught us a bit, sometimes football is like that. Vidi have a lot of quality players and we could see that tonight, but I'm proud of my own team because they fought honestly and went forward all the way. There were probably not three goals between the two teams tonight, but Vidi are one of the best teams in the country and it would have been a miracle if we had won. For us this game was a good test to see where we are. We saw what we still have to work on, what we need to improve in the future."
