Tamas Bognar will referee the weekend game with FTC

The experienced match official will take charge of the big weekend match at the Pancho Arena.

Tamas Bognar made his debut in the first division game between Kaposvar and Papa, which ended in a 1-0 result. That was on the 8th April 2006 and the match official has gone on to become a key member of the first division group of referees. He was voted best official for the 2011-2012 season at the Hungarian FA Gala.

The 39 year old has blown the whistle in 174 NBI games. He has produced a total of 774 yellow cards and sent off 51 players in his career. Bognar was most recently in the middle for the 4-1 away league win at Budapest Honved in April. 

Bognar will be assisted by Istvan Albert and Georgiou Theodoros for the weekend game. The fourth official will be Zsolt Varga.
