Talented youngsters sign first professional contract

Four youth players signed their first professional contract with Videoton

Tóth László, Németh Erik, Koronczi Bence and Zsótér Donát signed pro deals on the 1st March.

Youth development is a vital ingredient for any team that wishes to be successful in the long run. There are plenty of talented youngsters, both at the Sostoi stadium youth scheme, as well as the Puskas academy in Felcsut. Two youth players, Zsoter Donat and Laszlo Toth signed their first professional contracts on the 1st March. 

Donat strengthened the Videoton FC-Puskas academy U16 squad over the autumn season, which saw him score 12 goals in 14 games. The midfielder then moved up to the U17 side during the season, adding a further 2 goals in 4 matches. Laszlo Toth also plays for the U17 side, and made 14 appearances over the autumn, scoring 8 times for the red and blues, from his midfield position. Both players signed deals until the 31st December 2014. Two other youngsters also signed contracts. Erik Nemeth and Bence Koronczi have also committed themselves until the 30th June 2015.
