Szakaly in the squad for the Kaposvar match

Videoton take on Kaposvar in the Hungarian cup semi-final, second leg

Denes Szakaly has been recalled into the first team squad, following a spell with the second team. He played for the division two side in Saturday's match with Veszprem. His last appearance in Gyorgy Mezey's first team was in the first division game with ZTE, where he was forced off with an injury. Luckily the injury was not too serious and he can now join up with the rest of the senior squad.

Denes Szakaly: I was looking to get my stamina back to 100%, which is why I played in a way where I could avoid getting injured. I am really pleased to be back in the squad for the Hungarian cup match with Kaposvar on Wednesday. The manager has decided to continue resting Gyorgyi Sandor, while Balazs Farkas was sent off in the first leg. I am not sure whether I will make the starting line up. We made a big step towards the final, after winning the first leg away at Kaposvar, by a 1-0 scoreline. I feel that we will complete the job on Wednesday and make it into the cup final. We last lost at home in the autumn when we suffered a defeat to Honved. I do not believe that we will repeat this in tomorrow's match. We will be playing with different tactics for the match. Everyone expects us to win at the Sostoi stadium, and we want the same thing."
