The MOL Vidi left back looks ahead to Wednesday's second leg match with Ferencvaros.
- You have scored a few goals against Ferencvaros out of the current Vidi squad. You have scored 3 in league matches and once in the Hungarian Cup against the green and whites. You could say that you enjoy playing against them?
I would describe it that we tend to play big matches against Ferencvaros. Both teams five their all on the pitch for the win. There have been games where we have come out on top, but others that have seen us receive a smack on the face. This is why we will not be sitting back on our 2-1 first leg away win. I am sure that it will be a very tough game on Wednesday evening.
- Do you have a favourite goal against Ferencvaros?
I really like all of the goals that I have scored but if I had to pick one out, it would be the one scored on the 20th May 2017. We beat Ferencvaros 4-1. It was a special goal as I scored it on my birthday and we were 0-1 down at the time. We ended up going on to win well.
- Barely 3 months later in August 2017, you again found the back of the FTC net. You celebrated that goal with a message to then injured player Vinicius.
You see that was also a memorable match and the game was held up by almost an hour due to a big storm. The game was full of tension and feelings. I have been playing together with Vini for many years now for this club. We are good friends off the pitch and love each other like brothers. He had suffered a serious injury that summer in a European game. He ended up having to sit out 7 months as a result. I lifted up his shirt after scoring against Ferencvaros.
- What kind of match are you counting on in the second leg on Wednesday?
I am sure that Ferencvaros will not go into the game thinking they are behind from the first match. I feel they will come at us from the first minute as they will need to win by two goals to go through. It will not be an easy task and time will not be on their side. We must not focus on our opponents and only concentrate on our own game. We must not sit on the lead and it would be very dangerous to try to play out a 0-0 draw. I think that the supporters will see an exciting match on Wednesday evening.
