Scottish match officials for the Europa League Play-off's

Vidi will be looking to make it through to the Group Stage if they can get a result in Belgium on Thursday evening. 

Scotland’s William Collum will be the referee in the play-off in the Europa League against Standard Liege.

The 41 year old experienced match official took charge of his first match back in 2005 in a game involving Falkirk and Dunfermline, which ended in a 0-0 draw. He has gone on to referee in several European games since 2008. He was in the middle for Hungary's 2-1 EC qualifier against Croatia and also for the Romania v Hungary 2016 qualifier, which finished 1-1. 

He has 44 Champions League, and a total of 30 UEFA Cup and Europa League games to his name. Collum also officiated the UEFA Super Cup final in 2015 between Barcelona and Seville, which ended 5-4. He will be assisted by David MCGeachie, Francis Connor abd Kevin Clancy in Thursday's match.
