The MOL Vidi captain shared his thoughts following the 1-1 draw with Puskas Academy.
MOL Vidi FC played their 30th OTP League game of the season on Saturday. The visitors to the MOL Arena Sosto were Puskas Academy FC. We spoke to captain Roland Juhasz after the final whistle.
"Today's performance was not good enough and this does not fit into football. Perhaps the issue of the league title has been settled but if we want to win the Hungarian Cup, we will need to give much more. We had possession of the ball but there was no decisive power in our game. We scored our goal from the penalty spot. We need to create far more chances when we dominate. The ball bounced around for the own goal with it changing direction first off Adam Kovacsik, and then off me but instead of it being cleared, it ended up in the net. That more or less sums up everything about the game. The worst thing is that if we can play with freedom in our remaining matches, it would build up the confidence ahead of the cup final. But instead.... I think our heads will be cleaned and we need it. We need to return back to the form that we showed before the game with Ferencvaros" - commented Roland Juhasz.
