Players train hard following the weekend league program cancellation

Manager José Gomes held a near two hour training session on Saturday

The heavy wintry weather had a major effect on the domestic league program over the weekend. The Hungarian FA moved quickly to call off the OTP league matches, following the snowfall, which fell over Hungary on Friday. Manager José Gomes put the players through a tough near two-hour session on Saturday afternoon. The players can expect a similar afternoon on Sunday. Bozsovics, Gyurcso, Kovacs and Szolnoki, who have all been called up for international duty, were all given the afternoon off to rest. José Gomes called up some players from the reserve side for the training session, including Mikola, Barcsay, Molnar, Vachtler and Papp.

"We prepared thoroughly all week for our league game at Haladas. Sadly the weather meant that the league program would be cancelled, but I feel that the Hungarian FA have made a good decision. There is no stopping now, and we will continue to train ahead of next weeks two league cup games against Pecs" - said midfielder Balazs Toth.

Arturo Alvarez, who was recently injured against Egri FC, joined in with Saturday's training session. There was no reaction and he was able to fully train. Filipe Oliveira will have to wait a while until he is ready to join in with the other players.
