Match Report: Defeat against Dinamo Kiev

Videoton were in friendly action on Saturday at their training camp in Spain.

The third friendly match of the second Spanish winter training camp was played on Saturday. Record Ukrainian champions Dinamo Kiev were the opponents. Manager Marko Nikolic chose the following side for the friendly game: Tujvel – Bolla, Mocsi, Vinícius, Tamás – Tóth Bence – Réti, Varga József – Kovács István – Elvir Hadzic, Szabó Bálint.

The Dinamo keeper was brought in to early action after 4 minutes, when he saved a long distance Elvir Hadzic shot. The Ukrainian side took the lead in the 7th minute when Shepeliev released Tsyganov, who played a precise pass into the middle for the unmarked Sharapenko to find the net (0-1).

Istvan Kovacs took a free kick 3 minutes later, which found Mocsi, but his header from 11 meters went wide of the goal. Pivaric went down the left after 13 minutes and his cross again found Sharapenki, but this time he did not hit the target. Gonzalez, who had only just been on the pitch then hit a shot from 25 meters, which was blocked by Vinicius, but the ball ended up beating Tujvel and ending up in the back of the net (0-2).

Dinamo then went further ahead 7 minutes later after Garmasch shot from distance and it flew into the net with the Ukrainian international finding the bottom right corner (0-3). There were no further events in the first half and it was the Kiev side that went in at the break with a three goal lead. Bence Toth replaced Bence Szabo in the second half, while Dinamo's top scorer Diumerci Mboukani, who was a former team mate of Roland Juhasz in Anderlecht also came on. The 32 year old forward later found himself with a chance on goal, but the low shot was saved by Tujvel. Kedziora scored Dinamo's fourth goal on 57 minutes, after Garmasch' pass was converted into the back of the net from 11 meters (0-4).

Kedziora was again active in front of goal and he headed a corner towards goal, but substitute Harsfalvi cleared it from under the crossbar. Kiev made it 5 towards the end when Mbokani scored after cross from the left to make the final score (0-5).

Vidi are next in action on Monday when Chinese side Tiencsin Teda are the opponents.
