The two managers shared their thoughts after the final whistle.
Marko Nikolic:
"I would like to congratulate my players who started the new season well. We played better than we did in the opening two competitive games, but naturally we still need to improve. We were mentally stable and tactically disciplined. We were fine as a team. We created many chances and did not allow our opponent to have chances. Kisvarda did not have an easy job as they had to play away against Vidi with 10 men. The newcomers have some good players and they will cause surprises during the season. I feel that the supporters could see from the first minute that the team were suitably focused for the game. I would also like to thank them for coming out to back the team. We will start to prepare for the important game with Ludogorets from tomorrow."
Kondás Elemér:
"We played half-heartedly during the game and made errors that are not allowed in the first division. I said earlier that we will be punished much quicker for mistakes. One of our players was sent off at the start of the match and the game became one sided from then on. We were a good training partner for Vidi and they were able to try out elements against us for their CL match on Wednesday. We were not good enough and they took advantage of us with their quick game. We switched to 4-4-1 at half time and I asked the players to quickly forget what had happened. Realistically we did not have a chance anyway from that point. We lost against the league champions last season, which is not a disgrace as we are in a period of gelling in."
