The two managers shared their thoughts on Monday's friendly game in Spain.
Marko Nikolic:
"We played well against one of the Chinese first division sides. We have been away from home for almost a month. The players and coaching staff have worked well and it has been worth it. We have won three friendly games in the second training camp and scored six goals, while conceding just one, which was a penalty. We also had the game against Dinamo, which was not realistic. The players performed well in the other three games. The players that played against Krasnodar and Tianjin will most probably play a major part over the spring season. They played with tactical discipline and were organised throughout the games. We managed to carry out the way we plan to play over the season. Naturally the real competitive matches are totally different than a friendly game. Now we will all have a couple of days to rest and recharge ans continue training back home. The plans include another friendly game next week on Tuesday against Mosonmagyaróvár. Then the second half of the season will commence with a game against Vasas. The most important thing for us is to make sure we make a good start. I would also like to point out that we did not suffer any pulled or strained muscles during the training camp so we are now all waiting for the return of Szabolcs Huszti."
Uli Stielike:
"We played well in the first half until the 40th minute when we conceded our first goal. We had more of the ball and had chances. However, the second goal quickly came following the first one. Our opponents hit good counter attacking moves for the second and third goals. The Videoton players were much more composed in front of goal while we made several mistakes at the other end."
