The two managers shared their thoughts on Thursday's friendly match in Spain.
Marko Nikolic:
„We played a good match against a strong side. Krasnodar are currently fourth in the Russian first division. The tempo was fast and we did not make many changes during the game. We treated this game as if it was a competitive match. I am pleased with the performance of the players. We are playing better with each game and we have now won our last three matches. Naturally these are only friendly games and it is even more important as I said a couple of days ago, which is that with disciplined football and total concentration, will bring us the results. We will play Dinamo Kiev on Saturday and the other players in our squad will feature in that match. Then we will play Chinese side Tianjin towards the end of the training camp before we return home. It was a hard game and the training that the team has put in has made us stronger. I hope that nobody will get injured in the remaining time here."
Igor Shalimov:
"It is always important after a friendly game that we do not suffer any injuries. We managed this today and that is a positive. Our young keeper and the majority of the outfield players played 90 minutes today. The game was fine and balanced out there on the pitch. We had good moments and the opponents hit dangerous counter attacks against us. I could see certain elements that we have practiced during training. It was a good match for our youngsters. They could show what they can do against one of the top Hungarian sides. Our opponents unfortunately scored the winning goal from a set piece. It is hard to say anything about this. We need to concentrate better in similar situations. We need to correct our mistakes for the league and these friendly matches allow us to do that."
