The two managers shared their thoughts on Thursday's first leg match in Tallinn.
Marko Nikolic:
"We have picked up a good result to take into the second leg in Felcsut, which I think is unquestionable. We talk to the players each day about the importance of going out onto the pitch with a winning mentality. We have players that have played at the highest level like Roland Juhasz, Danko Lazovic or Marko Scepovic. They know how important attitude is when your playing for big targets. Today all of the players that were given a chance showed this type of character. It was important to get the lead early on. That made our job easier as the game went on. We had a further 3 good chances in the first half and hit the post. There was a move down the right involving Suljic and also another one in the second half, which we managed to dictate. We also need to add that we allowed our opponents two-three chances, which we need to improve and work on. I am sure that we can still play better than we did, but I would like to congratulate my players for the result. I would also like to thank the supporters for their backing and especially those that travelled out to Tallinn. I take my hat off to them."
Szergej Francev:
„Naturally I am not pleased with the result, but we still have a return leg to play so the battle is not yet over until the referee blows the final whistle. We will do all we can in Hungary to achieve a good result. We will need to defend better but I still believe in my team."
