The Videoton manager looks forward to Thursday's first leg game against Bordeaux.
"I feel that it would be a pity to deny that Girondins are the favourites in this tie. I am sure that they will see us playing sharp football. As the manager, I do not want to say whether the supporters will see a defensive or attacking Vidi, but I am sure that we have come here to pick up a good result. I do not want to say too much before the game and prefer for the players to "talk" out on the pitch. We need to be together from the first until the final minute. We need to appreciate when we have the ball and concentrate on our finishing. Our defence needs to be organised and also concentrate on set pieces. It is true that this will be the first competitive game for Girondins, but I do not feel that this is any kind of advantage for us. We have been playing every three days recently and we have not been rotating the players that much. The weather here in Bordeaux is ideal for playing football, which is why I think Thursday's game will be played at a good tempo" - commented manager Marko Nikolic who was talking to the French media on Wednesday.
