The two managers spoke to the media shortly after the match on Wednesday.
Joan Carrillo:
"I firstly want to congratulate the players on going through. I felt that we deserved it based on the two legs. We were the better side and we also had more chances in today's game. Today we perhaps played with more heart than we did with our heads. One thing certain is that you could see that they wanted to win and we need to continue with this attitude on the road ahead. I want to thank the supporters for the way they got behind us at Ferencvaros and also today. I hope that it will be an enjoyable match against ZTE and that they can celebrate a home win on Saturday."
Our manager also spoke about the performance of Oliver Tamas who made his debut and also about the substitutes.
"I liked the way that Oliver Tamas characteristically stepped into the game. Especially as it was in such an important cup match. Our opponents have dangerous wingers. The experienced players helped him a lot in the dressing room. We wanted Funsho to open up more on the right wing and there were 1-2 chances. He worked a lot on the pitch. Niko is moving forward with each game. We had to take into consideration with the changes, line-up and injured players that Marko Futacs, Armin Hodzic and Akos Elek will all not play against ZTE."
Nebojsa Vignjevics:
"It was not a good game or one that was quality with many errors. We tried to place Vidi under pressure and they made mistakes, but we made more. We gave them plenty of chances while not being able to show too much ourselves. I could not see that desire to win in my players. This was not the best game for sure. I want to congratulate Fehervar on the win an wish them success in the Hungarian Cup."
