Jevhen Makarenko: The most important is that we won

The midfielder spoke shortly after the final whistle against MTK.

"The most important thing is that we won against MTK! It was my third game at Vidi, we didn't win the first one in Gyirmot, but we did win the one against Kisvárda and today, I hope I could contribute to those! We played well in the first half, but unfortunately VAR took away our first goal and the visitors took the lead before the end of the half. At the break our head coach asked us to keep pushing, dominate and we would get the result, which we did. The equaliser came from a penalty and the second goal came from a fantastic header, Kenan made a great debut for Vidi! Like many of my teammates, I'm joining the national team, we'll be playing Kazakhstan, France and the Czech Republic, so we'll play three times in a week, so I'm certainly confident that we'll be successful." - Yevhen Makarenko said after the match against MTK.
