Imre Szabics: I am satisfied overall

The Vidi manager shared his thoughts after the 2-2 friendly draw with Rostov.

"We started the game very well and I was very happy with the first twenty minutes, but unfortunately we lost control of the game in the second half. Overall, I am still satisfied. It was terribly hot, but despite the heatwave we still had a good run, which is always very important when you're still in the preparation phase. However, we are getting closer and closer to the kick-off, which is why we have decided to give several of our players more than sixty minutes. In addition to the result and the performance, Rostov, who are in the Russian top division, are a very strong team, and they made substitutions at the break, so fresh players came on for the second half."

Our head coach also briefly summed up his thoughts on the training camp in Austria.

"The lads, including the youngsters, worked very well during the training camp, I'm happy with the team. Of course, we are looking forward to having our national team players back, but it was a good experience for everyone to have so many youngsters here. We got to know the players we can call on when the situation arises. Everyone deserves the two days off, then we'll get back to work!"
