Both managers shared their thoughts on Sunday's OTP league match at the Pancho Arena.
Henning Berg:
“Many teams are battling with playing on Thursday's in Europe and then in the league at the weekend. Naturally we prepared for this and we want to perform well in the Europa League. This represents development for both the players and the club. I have to admit at the moment that we are not handling this situation too well. Today we could not score from the chances we made. We could have won three games with the chances we created, but they did not go in for various reasons. That makes it hard to get the three points. We conceded two goals from set pieces today, despite the fact we have defended well against these recently. I am certain that if we only have to play one game each week, we would be very successful in Hungary. That is our long term aim to do well in both competitions but we are not there yet. I wanted to rest Suljic, as he has worked really hard in recent games. However, we needed him in the second half as he is in good form, and he played very well on Thursday. I cannot comment on his injury but I hope that he will not be out for long."
Michael Oenning:
“I am naturally delighted that we managed to win the game. It lifts the value of the win by the fact that we have picked up three points away from home. Minor details decided the game today. Both sides played with great concentration, especially in the midfield. I felt that both teams defended well. The match seemed destined for a draw for a long time, but we managed to score from a set piece. This relaxed the side and we went forward from solid defending, and the second goal crowned a good performance. I am pleased to have won three games in a row. We must keep our feet on the ground and continued the work we have started. I hope that many supporters will come out to support us in our next home game."
