Henning Berg: We have to give a better performance in our next match

The two managers shared their thoughts on the game following the final whistle.

Henning Berg:

"We were the better team in the first half, and we created several chances and could have made more if the final ball would have been better. The second half did not start too badly, but the home side went ahead following a good set piece. We knew that they would be dangerous from dead ball situations as they have tall players. Novothny's goal and the cross both worked well. We tried to put them under more pressure after the goal, but the counter attacks came. Akos Elek scored a good goal. If DVTK play like they did today in the future, then I am sure that they will be higher up in the league table. They have good players in their squad. They defender well today, which we have to admit. We need to work so that we perform better next time."

Ferenc Horváth:

"It has been a long time since I have sat at a press conference and talk about a win. We played good football this evening. We were up against opponents with a different formation on the pitch. The players looked after each other and functioned well as a team. If we would not have won the game, and say it would have ended 0-0, I would still have been satisfied. Today I saw a Diosgyőr side out there on the pitch that I would like to. I am pleased that we have picked up a good result against a team like this. The second third of the league season has started and I hope that we do not only manage to beat Videoton and Ujpest. I hope that the team can show its real face in the games to come."
