The two managers shared their thoughts on Saturday's OTP league match.
Henning Berg:
We did not play today at the level that we are capable of. This is partly as a result of FTC. The second half was better than the first, but we know that we can still perform better. To pick up a point here is not a bad result. However, we wanted to win the match and show the play that we have in other games. Part of a developing stage is to dominate and win games like these, when for example you are playing at the home of the league champions. Each game is different and the players are not machines. Football is like this and one moment your up and the next down. Ferencvaros did many good things today but they could not score. We were able to direct things better in the second half. We also had more chances but we could not create any clear cut chance.
Thomas Doll:
We saw two different 45 minute periods. The first half saw us do well both in terms of tactics and defensively. Vidi did not have any chances. We lacked that breaking power and I felt that we did not attack enough in our own stadium. The second half was hectic although the visitors did not place any great pressure on us. I did not have that feeling that we could win the game with an attacking move. Perhaps a set piece would have given us the 3 points. The lads carried things out well both in defence and in the midfield. We do need to produce more in attack. We were not aggressive enough and lost many balls up front, which does not allow us to win games.
