Henning Berg: "The supporters saw an entertaining match"

The two managers spoke to the media shortly after the final whistle.

Henning Berg:

"It is hard to talk about today's game as there was so much that happened out there on the pitch. I saw both positives and negatives from my team, so I think that the Ujpest manager will also say something similar after the match. I am sure that the supporters were well entertained and they saw a good match. A very tough second half followed after we went in at the break with a three goal lead. All respect to Ujpest who got back into the game. We will need to look in detail at our own game and see how we defended, and how we moved the ball around, as we did not play the second forty-five minutes the way I want my team to."

Nebojsa Vinjevics:

"I felt that this match was all about us. We started well and controlled the game, but we were affected by the first mistake, and Vidi have quality players who went on to take advantage of two further mistakes. We played better in the second half, especially after our first goal, so I felt that we would have the chance to get back in and turn things around. I am really sorry about the game today, but we simply made too many mistakes in front of our own goal. The team showed that there are players with character at Ujpest. It is a pity that we could not play from the first minute as we did in the second half. I would like to congratulate Videoton, who did well to take advantage from our errors. I would also like to congratulate my own team who gave everything that they have."
