Henning Berg: "The players deserve every praise"

The two managers shared their thoughts on the second leg game on Thursday.

Henning Berg:

"We were the better side today and the players deserve all the credit. They all fought hard and moved with unbelievable strength to try and make it through to the next round. There were chances and we defended well against a strong team. I did not feel that the sending off was a correct decision. I felt that the referee made a big mistake. It is difficult to play away from home with 10 men, but we still managed to win the match in normal time. Then we had extra time, and we had chances there as well, but it is hard to concentrate for such a long time when your down to 10 men. We played well in the game and the players can be proud of what they did and what they showed today."

Jess Thorup:

"The supporters saw two very good sides today and it was by far our most difficult game of the season so far. The visitors did well to read our game and they performed well. Especially when they were down to 10 men and they put us under pressure. We could not really play our own game and missed chances. We then fell behind but fortunately we scored a goal and went through, but it was a very hard game."
