Henning Berg: "I got from the team what I asked of them"

The two managers shared their thoughts on the game at the post match press conference.

Henning Berg:

"Generally I got from the team what I asked of them. Perhaps even more than that. Naturally I always say that there is no such thing in football, as a perfect match, and today's wasn't that either. It was important for us to take the lead in the match early on. As to whether we were lucky with the goal? You could look at it that way, but I would rather say that we prepared this way as Gyirmot like to build from the back, and put together many passes as they move forward. This is why our three forwards and midfielders placed pressure on our opponents in their own half. It brought its rewards and forced Gyirmot to make errors. We scored good goals and played well leading up to them. Robert Feczesin had to play in a slightly different position as Krisztian Geresi missed the game with a slight muscle strain. He still performed well. We could have scored more goals and also missed a penalty. However, I am not unsatisfied and all of the players concentrated fully. I think that these 4 goals show that we are in good form right now. We are heading in the right direction. We still have room to develop further if we are to achieve our long term plans."

Urbányi István:

"It was an interesting game. I hope that nobody misunderstands me but we played quite well in places. We can only really ever play this well if we have the coolness and the fire. We do not have the same playing strength as our opponents. However, I think that the way we play is positive. We conceded 4 goals and Vidi managed to keep a clean sheet. The match could have ended 8-4 or 6-2 and I would still have said that we played a good game. We do not have to forget this match as there are serious lessons to learn. I hope that the players will rediscover that fight that we had when results were going our way."
