Sunday's opponents have had a mixed performance in the league so far. At home, they are 100 percent in the league, the only team to beat Puskás Akadémy (Paks - PAFC 2-1), but away they are winless, the only team that ETO have won came against Paks (ETO FC Győr - Paks 2-1). They have also beaten Nyíregyháza and Újpest at home, with all their home games ending in 2-1 victories. They only took a point away from home in Miskolc (DVTK - Paks 2-2), lost 3-1 in Zalaegerszeg and 2-1 in Győr.

In the summer, Paks had a good run in Europe, losing 4-2 on aggregate to Romanian Corvinul in the EL qualifier, but then they went on to beat AEK Larnaca of Cyprus in the Conference League, and then Mornar Bar of Montenegro were no obstacle for György Bognár's side, who were finally stopped in the play-offs by Czech Mlada Boleslav.

Paks have a number of former Vidi players (Zsolt Haraszti, Ádám Kovácsik, Vilmos Borsos), while our squad also includes players who played for Paks (Bálint Szabó, Gergely Nagy).
